To carry out analyses at very low flows, it is necessary to have flow splitters and connectors with volumes of less than one micro litre. These are virtually impossible to produce by conventional techniques. Thanks to silicon technology, Xensor was able to develop a flow splitter with a very small volume and a high pressure resistance (up to 400 bar), as well as a T-connector with a minimal dead volume.
