Electronic wildlife saver

In modern agriculture there is a chance that during land operations nests of grassland birds, and other animals, are destroyed. To prevent this, nests and animals have to be detected in time during operation. 
Terra Care in Ommen, The Netherlands has developed together with milieu co-operation "de Ommer Marke" and experimental farm Zegveld a wildlife saver which can be mounted on agriculture machinery. Xensor developed and produced for this wildlife saver a fast infrared detector. Body heat of animals is detected within 20 millisecond so the operation can be stopped in time.
